Woodland Hills - The Property
Undulating Hills & A Private Lake
Woodland Hills consists of a half section of land covering 320 acres and is situated
approximately 10 kms due South of the Riding Mountain National Park in Rossburn,
Manitoba. The land is simply beautiful with undulating hills and a totally private
35 acre Echo lake. Currently on the land there is a main log house, log-sided horse
barn, log workshop and 3 cabins.
Rustic Log House
The main log house is rustic, warm, friendly, cosy and the envy of all who visit.
It was built 25 years ago and contains 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. After renovation
work from 2002-2005 a new roof and decks were installed. Furthermore all of the
services – electricity, water and sewage were replaced across all the buildings.
Luxurious Pine Cabins
The 3 pine-sided arch-rib cabins (chalet style) were built in 2003. They are luxurious
and blend the comforts of civilization with the ruggedness of living in the wilderness.
They are chalet-design with pine half-board fascias and windows and decks overlooking
the private Echo Lake. All the residential buildings are fully furnished and come
complete with furniture, appliances, linens etc.
Workshop & Horse Barn
The 20' x 20' workshop is of log construction and contains the laundry facilities,
with a shower and sink. The 30' x 40' post and beam barn with half log siding was
designed for horses and has been home in the past to horses, cattle and goats.
